The 2018 Chardonnay Bearwallow Vineyard has pretty scents of baklava and quince paste with savory, spicy nuances and a mineral streak. In the mouth, it's silky and expansive, its flavors segueing from fruit to spice to flint, lifted by tangy acidity and finishing long and layered.

Leading off the Chardonnay and from a great site in the Anderson Valley, the 2018 Chardonnay Bearwallow Vineyard is a rich, rocking little Chardonnay that's loaded with orchard, lemon, and peach fruit as well as notes of brioche, green almonds, spice, and toasted bread. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, and a stunning mouthful of fruit that's going to evolve for a solid 7-8 years. There are a scant 161 cases made.
One of the standouts in this range, the 2018 Chardonnay Bearwallow Vineyard is absolutely gorgeous. Bright, focused and translucent, the 2018 is all class. In 2018, the Bearwallow is so elegant, so finessed and so pure. Lemon peel, white flowers, pear, almond and chamomile all grace this exquisite, alluring Chardonnay. The Bearwallow is one of the highlights in 2018. Don't miss it.
