Aromas of quince, pear and honeysuckle. Broad but initially closed, with hints of pear, apple and spices complicated by a note of game. Expands nicely and builds impressively, showing slightly warm flavors of licorice, toffee and butterscotch. Ultimately concentrated, thick and full but shapely, with discreet oak sweetening its complex flavors.
