2006 Big Basin Syrah Mandala

The 2006 Syrah Mandala possesses a dark ruby color, and is more advanced, but not as attractive as its siblings. Aromas of resiny pine forest interwoven with notions of road tar, black cherries, and cassis emerge from this ripe, medium-bodied, slightly rustic Syrah. It will be drinkable over the next 4-5 years whereas the other two offerings should last for a decade.
