Score 88/100 · Drink 2013-2017, Robert Parker, Dec 2013
Surprisingly, the 2011 Pinot Noir (197 cases produced) outperformed the 2012. From the Sonoma Coast, the 2011 exhibits lots of pomegranate, plum and cherry fruit as well as a round, sexy mouthfeel and a medium-bodied finish. It will drink well for 2-4 years. (Not yet released) This new operation that hired talented winemaking consultant Luc Morlet is fashioning an assortment of reds and whites, including a Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blend, Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, Syrahs and Cabernet Sauvignons. www.carteblanchewine.com
