The straight 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is an inky colored, ripe and voluptuous effort that has no hard edges, tons of fruit, and impressive notes of plums, licorice and smoked herbs. This cuvee comes from a number of sites throughout the appellation.

Youthful purple. Ripe, spice-accented cherry, dark berries and candied flowers on the deeply scented nose and in the mouth. Silky and open-knit; a building peppery element adds vivacity to sweet blueberry and cherry flavors. Bitter chocolate and allspice notes come up on the clinging finish, which is shaped by smooth tannins. In the context of California Cabernet, this wine delivers fantastic value.
