Not the purest nose but lots of solid fruit here. Concentrated with some but not excessive acidity. Black fruits. Still quite chewy. Good effort. Not absolutely top drawer but vibrant and GV . (JR)

(from a yield of 28 hectoliters per hectare, according to Frederic Esmonin): Good dark red. Pure aromas of blackberry, cherry, white pepper and flowers, plus a whiff of menthol. Juicy, sappy and energetic, showing more personality--and density--today than the Lavaux. Rich and intensely flavored but still youthfully tight. Finishes brisk and long.
