Tasting notes
Green-tinged gold. Highly perfumed scents of pear skin, honey and violet, with a smoky mineral overtone. Incisive citrus and orchard fruit flavors are complemented by a deeper dried fig element, picking up an iodine nuance with air. Dry, tightly focused and pure, showing strong mineral cut and spiciness on the penetrating finish.

A smoking white that's made from 70% Roussanne, 24% Viognier and 6% Marsanne, Eric's 2013 White has a medium gold color to go with sensational notes of golden orchard fruits, honeysuckle, white flowers and a touch of buttered popcorn. Rich, full and layered, yet still fresh and lively, with a blockbuster finish, this is a beautiful white that has both aromatic complexity and richness on the palate. It held up beautifully over the three days I followed the bottle and it should age gracefully, although I see no reason to delay gratification either.
