Deep red. Oak-spiced cherry, blueberry and vanilla aromas and flavors show good energy and pick up a smoky nuance with air. Pliant and seamless in texture, with good weight, gentle tannins and strong finishing sweetness. Sexy and approachable pinot, with the depth to handle richer foods. (JR)
