2013 Keplinger Diamond Bar

The 2013 Diamond Bar, 100% Syrah from Fair Play in Sonoma, is another head-turning effort from Helen Keplinger. Black pepper, graphite, mocha, inky blue/purplish fruit, smoke and sweet spices are all pushed forward. Bright and finely-sculpted throughout, the 2013 hits all the right notes. Even with all of its intensity, the Diamond Bar remains energetic and light on its feet. The 2013 was done in combination of small and medium-sized barrels.
