Tasting notes
Medium red. Nose offers a wild red berry perfume and sexy oak. Sappy and suave, with bright, succulent flavors of framboise and spices. Very firmly structured wine; impressively concentrated, subtle and very long.

The 2002 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru displays licorice, black currant, and dark cherry aromas. On the palate, this medium-bodied effort reveals a satin-textured attack and mid-palate before slightly tightening in the finish. Its dark fruit flavors linger in its impressively long finish. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2012. Importer: Dreyfus Ashby, New York, NY; tel. (212) 818-0770
Good deep red. Sappy, slightly liqueur-like aromas of black and red raspberry. Sweet, fresh flavors of cassis, blueberry and violet, lifted by cooler mint and licorice notes and underlying minerality. Finishes with slightly edgy tannins and very good length.
