Tasting notes
Showing a deep ruby color with some amber at the rim, the 2007 Isosceles (88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot) is a beauty. Blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings, spice and hints of leather all flow to a medium to full-bodied, supple, elegant red that's drinking beautifully today. It should continue evolving nicely going forward.

(88% cabernet sauvignon, 8% cabernet franc and 4% merlot) Inky ruby. Lively aromas of red and dark berry preserves, with subtle floral and oak spice notes adding complexity. Juicy, gently sweet cherry and blackberry flavors show very good depth, picking up mocha and anise qualities with air. Late-arriving tannins are quickly absorbed by the densely packed, sweet fruit. This is a youngster.
