Tasting notes
From his home property on Mount Veeder, the 2019 Space & Time is a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Merlot. It's gently floral, marked by scents of black cherries and dark chocolate. Ripe without being heavy, this full-bodied effort is silky-supple, easy to drink and shows admirable length on the finish.

The 2019 Space & Time checks in as 50% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Merlot, all from a site on Mount Veeder just west of Promontory. It's a smoking good red blend loaded with ripe black fruits, graphite, tobacco leaf, crushed stone, and earthy goodness. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a structured yet elegant mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. As with most mountain wines, and Mount Veeder in particular, the cellar is going to be your friend. Hide bottles for 4-5 years and enjoy over the following 20+.
The 2019 Space & Time, Aaron Pott's 70% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot blend from this Mt. Veeder estate, is positively thrilling. Aromatically intense and towering in stature, Space & Time dazzles. Veeder tannins add explosive energy and tons of character. I imagine the 2019 will require patience, but it is super impressive in the early going.
