Score 92/100 · Drink 2001-2011, Pierre Rovani, Aug 2001
The bing cherry-scented, medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Pinot Noir Guadalupe Vineyard displays abundant juicy red berries and cherries in its impressive flavor profile. This highly expressive, fruit-packed wine has loads of sweet red fruits that burst from the glass. It is pure, sweet, candied, and immensely impressive. This wine should be consumed over the next 8-10 years. Tel. (503) 852-7070

Bright, deep ruby-red. Black raspberry, violet, bitter chocolate and mint on the nose. Juicy intensely flavored and concentrated, but still rather folded in on itself. Sharply delineated and firm, with a restrained sweetness. Finishes with dusty, firm tannins and very good length.
