Tasting notes
Deeper hued, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is 100% varietal and comes from the Bacchus (Sagemoor) and Phinny Hill vineyards. Aged in 52% French oak, its dense purple hue is followed by a terrific bouquet of darker currants, plums, spicy oak, leather, and cedar pencil. This concentrated, medium to full-bodied 2020 has a beautifully layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It's well worth seeking out and will have 15-20 years of overall longevity.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is dusty in the glass, with perfumed florals and crushed blackberries offset by hints of camphor. It's sleek and streamlined, with racy acidity propelling its ripe red and black fruits across the palate. The 2020 tapers off harmoniously with impressive length, leaving a lavender tinge and a coating of fine-grained tannins.
