Tasting notes
From vines planted in 1974, the 2022 Pinot Noir Three Corner is detailed and pure on the nose: blueberry and cranberry open to wafts of violet, tea leaves, porcini mushroom and licorice. The light-bodied palate is precise and spicy. Silky tannins and juicy acidity frame layers of perfumed, crunchy fruit, and it has a long, expressive finish.

From a vineyard planted in 1974, the 2022 Pinot Noir Three Corner pours a youthful magenta-tinged red color and offers lovely complexity on the nose, with layered floral and spice aromas of fresh black cherries, polished violets, and refined, woodsy spice. Medium-bodied, it has fantastic energy and good tension, it’s highly refined and polished, and it has a note of blood orange on the palate as well as persistent length. It has a plusher tannin structure but delivers vibrant, mouthwatering, fresh acidity, and there are deeper undercurrents of dark stones that persist long after the wine is gone. Drink this over the coming 15 or so years.
