Medium red. Spicy, perfumed aromas of redcurrant, red licorice and herbs. Lovely sweet, full red fruit has a vibrant quality that suggests sound acidity. Tasted after the line-up of '96s, this wine seems sweeter than the '96 Bonnes Mares! Finishes with smooth tannins and very good length.
