2022 Paul Lato Chardonnay Belle de jour Chapel

The 2022 Chardonnay Chapel Vineyard Belle de Jour is fabulous. It emerges from a terrific site in the Sta. Rita Hills long known to insiders here. Lemon peel, crushed rocks, mint and white pepper are all beautifully delineated. This is the only Chardonnay in the Lato range that did not finish its malolactic fermentation. It's a style that works so well.
