The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Hommage is a huge, powerful wine bursting with dark fruit, new leather, smoke, licorice and tar. It is a huge, seamless wine that totally covers the palate. Frankly, I am stunned by the sheer quality of this opulent, full-bodied Cabernet. This is a dazzling first effort.

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Hommage is a huge, powerful wine bursting with dark fruit, new leather, smoke, licorice and tar. Layers of seamless fruit totally cover the palate. Frankly, I am stunned by the sheer quality of this opulent, full-bodied Cabernet. This is a dazzling first effort. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. I was completely taken with the two wines I tasted from Cabaud. Luc Morlet makes the wines for Phil and Bonnie Cabaud. Mon Hommage is 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot, 95% from the Seiller vineyard on Glass Mountain in St. Helena and 5% from Missouri Hopper in Oakville. Tel.
