Tasting notes
I loved the 2016 Pinot Noir Two Birds Estate Vineyard, and it has a darker, smokier bouquet that carries plenty of ripe cranberry, blood orange, smoked earth, and graphite aromas and flavors. It's fresh, focused, and has good concentration and notable tannins on the palate. It's another rich yet classic, as well as structured, wine from this team.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Two Birds is a bit more laid-back and medium-bodied than the Harper's Rest, but it too is a pretty rich Pinot. Dark red cherry, plum, flowers and spice are all laced throughout. There is good energy and drive to the Two Birds.
The 2016 Pinot Noir Two Birds Estate has a pale to medium ruby color and aromas of violet, pink peppercorn, potpourri, prosciutto and dusty earth, with crunchy red and black fruits at the core. Medium to full-bodied, it packs in the fruit, earth and savory layers, with firm framing tannins and juicy acidity to carry the long, savory, bergamot-laced finish. This is just stuffed with flavor and is very dense. Yum! 227 cases were made.
