Only made in top vintages (2010 and 2013), the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Loc Cit is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that's a cellar selection from two blocks on the property. It's cut from the same cloth as the Ovid yet has a kiss more purity in its crème de cassis, crushed tobacco, crushed rock minerality, and white flowers. It has incredible minerality, full-bodied richness, good acidity and cut, loads of structure, and a great finish. It needs time, but it’s a thrilling wine.

The 2017 Loc-Cit (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a big, opulent wine built on serious vertical intensity and explosiveness. In the glass, the 2017 has tons of richness and equally imposing tannic heft. Readers will have to be patient, as the Loc-Cit very clearly needs time in the cellar to be at its best. It is a truly stellar wine.
