Score 88/100 · David Schildknecht, Wine Advocate, Dec 2008
From vines planted in 1988 within a stone’s throw of their house – and almost along the route nationale – the Seysses’s white 2006 Morey-St.-Denis displays a rather striking counterpoint of pastry-like yeast and vanilla cream with tart fresh apricot and bright grapefruit. A low-toned meaty richness underlies a dynamic surface, and it will be very interesting to see how this impressively substantial and unusual wine evolves. Importer: The Sorting Table, Napa, CA; tel.
