Tasting notes
The 2022 Pinot Noir Cleary Estate has detailed scents of strawberry pie, wild fennel, tea leaves and woodsmoke. The light-bodied palate is finely astringent and bright with generous, spicy red fruit and a long, floral finish. It drinks beautifully straight from the bottle. 320 cases were made.

Medium-bodied, the 2022 Pinot Noir Cleary Estate is silky and delicious. It offers gorgeous, polished notes of black raspberry liqueur, wildflowers, and mossy earth. The palate boasts great persistence and length, with seamless, plush tannins, even acidity, and a long, lightly warming spice with dark mineral underpinnings on the finish. It’s one of my favorite wines today. Drink it over the next 20 years. Only 320 cases were produced.
The 2022 Pinot Noir Cleary Estate is laced with dark cherry, menthol, sage, licorice, mocha and dried herbs. Dark and brooding but also very delicate in feel, the 2022 has a lot to offer. It is one of the more complex, beguiling wines in this range.
