The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Moulds Family Vineyard is a real beauty. Crème de cassis, blackberry jam, sweet spice, licorice, espresso and chocolate infuse the palate with notable textural richness and depth. The Moulds shows the natural exuberance of the year, but tempered by the naturally cool microclimate here. That combination yields an exotic, flashy Cabernet Sauvignon that has aged exceptionally well.

One of the highlights in this range, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Moulds Vineyard is a total knock-out. Rich, sumptuous and super-expressive, the 2015 Moulds has so much to offer. Crème de cassis, mint, lavender, spice and blueberry pie all give the Moulds a decidedly cool, savory personality that is typical of the wines from Oak Knoll. Even with all of its intensity, the 2016 preserves terrific nuance and energy throughout. I loved it.
