The 2011 Veracity is made up of 57% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre and 18% Syrah aged 16 months in 25% new French oak barrels and puncheons. It has a medium ruby-purple color and fresh red and black currants, baked blackberries, salumi, cracked pepper and desiccated roses on the nose with notes of red berries, leather and potpourri. The medium to full-bodied palate has a nice dichotomy of bright fruit and savory character with a firm, grainy texture and great freshness, finishing long on an olive note. This still has plenty of life ahead. 651 cases were made.

Powerful aromas of candied black raspberry, blueberry and licorice, with hints of violet and cracked pepper adding complexity. Lush, intensely flavored and silky in texture, offering spicy dark berry and cherry compote flavors enlivened by a suave floral nuance. Showing the dark side of grenache. Finishes sappy and very long, with resonating spiciness, a hint of licorice and velvety, harmonious tannins.
