Sporting a deep ruby/purple hue as well as a gorgeous nose of red, blue, and black fruits supported by plenty of flowery incense, tobacco, and loamy earth nuances, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, has a great mid-palate, sweet tannins, and just a complex, classic To Kalon style that will shine for 15-20 years.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon is a powerful, dense wine still holding back much of its true potential. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, new leather, tobacco and grilled herbs lend a feeling of somber gravitas. Floral accents develop over time, adding a bit of brightness, but overall the 2019 is a dark, brooding monster.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard needs a little swirling to reveal notes of crushed rocks, Indian spices and garrigue over a core of warm cassis, redcurrant jelly and blackberry preserves. Full-bodied, the palate has beautiful freshness and well-managed, soft tannins supporting the generous fruit, finishing long and earthy.
