Boasting a more opaque ruby/red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Bodega Theriot Vineyard is a much more serious and brooding wine, with incredibly distinctive character. This one really stands alone in its profile, with notes of toasted cedar, forest floor, black cherries, menthol, and loads of spices, and the nose just keeps going. if you like the Occidental Ridge and want to try another wine from Rivers Marie, this should be the one. Leaning toward full-bodied, with a plusher texture, a velvety feel, and a long, ripe finish, it's going to be one to cellar and drink over the next 20 years.
