2016 B Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is a barrel sample, displaying a very deep purple-black color and gregarious crushed blueberries, blackberry compote and red and black currants notes with touches of underbrush, rose petals, dusty soil, cinnamon stick and Provence herbs. The full-bodied palate is an exercise in poise, with beautifully ripe, silt-like and yet very firm, fine-grained tannins and wonderful freshness backing up the rock-solid, muscular fruit, finishing very long with many layers peeking out among the power.
