Tasting notes
Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir Elanus has very pretty aromas of spiced cranberry sauce, blueberry preserves, blood orange and cinnamon stick with touches of bitters and potpourri, offering more nuance as it airs in the glass. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, with abundant, rounded tannins, seamless acidity and concentrated, still youthfully tense fruits. It finishes with tremendous length and layering, and it will continue to develop in bottle over the next 10-15 years. Only 75 cases were made.
