Anthill's 2012 Pinot Noir Campbell Ranch Vineyard is striking, but it is also a bit compact. Sweet tobacco, autumn leaves, mint, white pepper and dried cherries are all nicely layered in the glass. This is one of the more delicate, subtle wines in the range. Sweet floral and spice notes linger on the feminine finish.
