The 2010 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch Rued Vineyard shows the exotic notes that are typical of this site and the Rued Chardonnay clone. Passion fruit, ginger, mango, nectarine and sweet spices are all supported by lovely veins of underlying acidity. This is a decidedly aromatic style of Chardonnay. A rich, creamy finish adds texture and rounds things out nicely. This sensual, perfumed Chardonnay is best enjoyed over the next handful of years.

A rich, creamy finish adds texture and rounds things out nicely. This sensual, perfumed Chardonnay is best enjoyed over the next handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018. These 2010 Chardonnays were made by Luc Morlet prior to his departure in late 2012. The style is classic Morlet, which is to say rich, creamy and expressive.
