Tasting notes
79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Malbec, 8% Petit Verdot. Lively and energetic. Readable though a hint of gaminess?? I like it but I would not recommend it to hyper-techno tasters. Lots of interest and not just sweet and alcoholic. (JR)

Bright ruby-red. Very precise, pure scents of cassis, violet, bitter chocolate, mocha and licorice. Subtly complex, ripe and classy, hinting at a subtle sweetness but in a distinctly dumb phase right now, showing a medicinal menthol quality. This is most impressive today on the broad, horizontal back end, which features firm but pliant tannins and terrific chocolatey depth and length.
Blackcurrants, black raspberries, graphite, leafy herbs and even a hint of bay leaf all emerge from the 2014 Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon, and it's deep, rich and beautifully concentrated in the vintage. Made from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot, it opens up nicely with time in the glass, has ample tannin structure and a great finish. Give bottles short term cellaring and enjoy through 2034.
