2019 Bedrock Wine Co. Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County) is one of the under the radar gems in this range. It's a blend of mostly Montecillo, with pieces from Monte Rosso and Lichau Hill. A power outage in Sonoma meant Montecillo fruit was harvested a bit later than originally planned. Morgan Peterson and Chris Cottrell weren't entirely satisfied with Montecillo on its own, so they added fruit from the other two sites to create this wine, which, by the way, is pretty damn delicious. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange and floral/savory accents come together in this elegant, nuanced Cabernet Sauvignon.
