Score 94/100 · Drink 2024-2034, Eric Guido, Vinous, Jan 2024

The 2016 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley wafts up a haunting dark bouquet of dusty dried flowers, steeped plums, green olive and gingery spice. Cool-toned and finessed, this possesses textures of pure silk, lifted and refined, with crunchy red berries cascading across a core of brilliant acidity. Zesty and fresh, it leaves hints of sour citrus and savory herbs while tapering off with a gentle tension, yet only lightly tannic. I love it.
