Similarly lightly colored, the 2017 Pinot Noir East Ridge is a richer wine compared to the West Ridge release and has lots of mulberry and riper cherry fruits as well as sappy herbs, tea, and floral notes. It too is medium-bodied, has a touch more ripeness in its fruit as well as bright underlying acidity and firm tannins, which shows the difficulty in the 2017 vintage. While it lacks the balance and symmetry of the West Ridge release, it's still a beautiful wine. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Estate East Ridge has good depth for the vintage. I would prefer to drink it over the next few years, while the fruit remains present. Sweet dark cherry and plum fruit give this mid-weight, juicy Pinot good depth, within the understated style of the year.
Pale to medium ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir East Ridge has a perfumed nose of fir, damp earth, black cherries, lavender, oolong tea leaves, dusty character and red berry sparks—savory and earthy. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with concentrated, dark, savory fruits framed by sturdy tannins and great freshness to lift the long, layered finish. 562 cases produced.
This offers red cherries, sous bois and sappy, earthy freshness. The palate heads more towards blue fruit with a smooth band of fine pinot tannin and beautifully preserved acidity, holding a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink or hold.
