Tasting notes
Named after Helene's father and a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Cabernet Franc, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon RBK offers a stunning nose of both black and blue fruits as well as chocolate, violets, lavender, and assorted herbs. The palate is also awesome and full-bodied, with a plush, layered mid-palate, ultra-fine tannins, and flawless balance. One of the greatest wines in the vintage, it already offers plenty of up-front appeal, but smart money will hide bottles for 3-5 years, and it's going to just about blow you away over the following 20+.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch is a stunning wine off this ranch. A vivid, beautifully chiseled wine, the 2019 captures all the energy of this site. Blue/purplish fruit, gravel, crushed rocks, incense and dried flowers race across the palate, lifted by bright salivating acidity and the intense minerality that is such a signature here. What a sensational wine.
This is a very polished and beautiful wine, with blackcurrants, flowers and hints of spiced chocolate. Medium-to full-bodied with creamy tannins and a fresh, vivid finish. Round, creamy tannins with focus and verve. Drink in 2025 or beyond.
