Tasting notes
The 2014 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane has a medium ruby-purple color and expressive black raspberry, mulberry and black cherry notes with hints of anise and tilled earth. The medium-bodied palate is generously fruited with intense red and black berry layers and a satiny texture, finishing with a lively lift.

Feral on the nose and palate, awash in cherry but also a savage garden of wild rose, this wine is precociously young. It expands slowly in the glass finally to unleash a ferocity of cranberry and raspberry. Drink 2018 through 2024. — Virginie Boone
The 2014 Pinot Nair Olivet Lane Vineyard is quite closed today. Next to the other 2014s in this range, the Olivet Lane comes across as compact and a touch austere. Citrus notes add brightness to the red cherry and cranberry fruit, but the 2014 never seems to really open up. It will be interesting to see what happens with more time in bottle.
