Tasting notes
Good deep ruby-red. Crushed dark berries and licorice on the slightly high-toned nose, lifted by fresh herbs, violet and spices. Firmly built, with a solid spine of acids and tannins framing the dark fruit and licorice flavors. A bit ungiving now, this needs at least two or three years to loosen up. Tannins build on the back.

Displaying more silkiness as well as sweeter, purer fruit, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a dense ruby/purple color in addition to aromas and flavors of black currants, fruit cake, spice box, smoked herbs, and subtle oak. Fleshy, round, and generously endowed with noticeable tannins in the finish, it will benefit from 1-2 years of bottle age, and should drink well for 7-8. Tel. (707) 967-8448
