Even better, 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is up with the crème de la crème of the vintage and is magical stuff. All varietal and, I suspect, brought up in plenty of new barrels, it offers a powerful style in its ripe cassis and blueberry fruit as well as more tobacco, graphite, and leafy herb aromas and flavors. Stunningly concentrated and full-bodied, it’s another one of those rare wines that brings incredible richness and depth while holding onto a sense of purity, elegance, and weightlessness. Enjoy this Napa Valley magic over the coming 15-20 years.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is quite possibly the most impressive wine I have ever tasted from Odette. It marries textural opulence and energy to a degree that is just remarkable. Copious dark fruit, new leather, spice and floral accents build effortlessly over time. I especially admire the tension and vibrancy here.
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve comes tearing out of the glass with bold notes of boysenberries, Morello cherries and blackcurrant cordial, plus suggestions of menthol, clove oil, tar and fertile loam with a waft of candied violets. Full-bodied, the palate is seductively rich with a solid frame of firm, grainy tannins and beautiful freshness, finishing with a spectacular array of mineral sparks.
