Green-tinged straw. Pungent, leesy bouquet of pear, peach pit, toasted grain and anise. Taut orchard fruit and citrus flavors offer very good focus and energy, picking up licorice pastille and buttery brioche qualities on the back end. Finishes tangy and fresh, with very good lift and cut.

Score 87/100 · Drink 2007-2010, Robert Parker, Dec 2007
Light greenish gold, the 2006 Chardonnay has a beautiful nose of brioche, hazelnut, honeyed lemons, and other ripe citrus. Some wood is noticeable, but it is reasonably well-integrated in this medium to full-bodied Chardonnay that should drink nicely for 2-3 years. Tel. (707) 847-3600
