The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is similar in style to the open, sexy 2012 and has a great nose of spiced red and black fruits, leather, herbes de Provence, and smoked tobacco. It’s another full-bodied, round, lush, impeccably made wine from this team.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, which is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, is a beauty. Bigger-boned and framed than many 2014s, with more structure, this is classic Oakville material, with an opaque purple color and a big, sweet kiss of graphite, blackcurrants, Christmas fruitcake and spice box. Full-bodied and opulent, with moderate tannin, this is a gorgeous wine to drink now and over the next 20 or more years.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is another super-appealing wine. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice, new leather and licorice wrap around the palate. Succulent, layered and juicy, the 2014 captures all of the appeal of this Oakville site, albeit in the more restrained style that is typical of the year.
A dark, juicy wine, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a terrific example of the house style. Blue and purplish fruit, smoke, spices, licorice and menthol meld together in a supple, forward Cabernet built on texture. Dark blue and purplish stone fruits, spices, licorice and new leather are some of the signatures.
