The 2019 Pinot Noir Sonoma County is scented of bright, spicy red and black berries with nuances of earth, woodsmoke and black tea leaves. The medium-bodied palate offers surprising depth of fruit and loads of spicy character, a seamless, silky structure and long, uplifted finish. What a classic expression this vintage! (EB)

One of the standouts in the lineup, the 2017 Pinot Noir Williams Selyem Estate Vineyard just about jumps out of the glass with its foresty, pine, spice, and mulled red and black fruit-driven aromatics. These all carry over on the palate, where the wine is medium to full-bodied, has bright, juicy acidity, elegant tannins, and the class to evolve for a decade.

A slightly riper and spicier if more restrained nose only grudgingly reveals its aromas of red cherry, cranberry and raspberry. The delicious, vibrant and attractively detailed medium weight flavors possess a seductive palate impression that contrasts mildly with the lingering, dusty and ever-so-slightly warm finale. I like the complexity and notwithstanding the hint of warmth, the balance holds in well too. *Outstanding*

The 2017 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard is pale to medium ruby with a nose of cranberry, red licorice, rhubarb, rose petal and pomegranate with notions of stone, dried leaves, dusty earth, orange peel and amaro. It's light to medium-bodied with bright red fruits underscored by an earthy undercurrent, softly framed and finishing very long with lip-smacking acidity and pleasant bitters notions. (EB)
