Tasting notes
Medium ruby hue leaning toward pink, the 2020 Pinot Noir Giusti Ranch delivers generous aromas of wild strawberry, herbes de Provence, and rose petal. Medium-bodied, it’s a very elegant wine with fine tannins, good structure, and fresh acidity in its notes of dusty earth and fresh raspberry. A balanced red with good depth of fruit, it remains pure and light on its feet and is exceptional for the vintage.

The 2020 Pinot Noir Giusti Vineyard was harvested August 25-26 and matured for 18 months in 47% new oak. It has a pale ruby color and some rubbery aromas over a core of red and black berries, garrigue and forest floor. The light-bodied palate is slightly dilute with rustic, chalky tannins, restrained, crunchy fruit and some warmth on the finish.
Redcurrants, berries, mushrooms and bark on the nose. Full-bodied. Sweet and sour strawberry and cherry flavors. Hints of spices and deep fruit. Warmer center-palate. Drink or hold.
