Tasting notes
The 2011 Novicium is a big, bold wine. Sage, tobacco, rosemary, black cherries and plums all meld together beautifully. A large, ample wine, the 2011 impresses for its breadth and overall balance. The higher presence of Cabernet Sauvignon vis-à-vis the 2012 give the 2011 a much darker and more savory profile.

Continuum's second wine, the 2011 Novicium, is strikingly beautiful. Sweet floral notes meld into mint, rosemary, red cherries and sweet tobacco in a silky, polished mid-weight wine that impresses for its balance. Bright saline notes support the refined finish. Novicium is floral and quite feminine in style, which makes it totally different and far more approachable than the flagship Continuum. The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.
