Full, dense, rich and vegetal. Lots of sweet fruit and tannins. Slightly awkward. Certainly not ready. I prefer the freshness of the Sonoma County. (JR)

Good medium ruby. Wild nose dominated by roast coffee and meat. Then rich and spicy in the mouth, with dark fruit flavors complicated by a meaty quality. The brettanomyces element here is not especially aggressive yet robs the wine of some of its primary fruit and verve. Still, this finishes supple, sweet and persistent.
