Score 89/100 · Drink 2016-2023, Robert Parker, Mar 2016

As for the 2013 Pinot Noir East Slope Carneros Estate, it is a good one-half degree lower in alcohol than the West Slope. Medium-ruby with notes of cola, a touch of sassafras, black cherry and plum, its complex aromatics are not matched by the flavor intensity of the West Slope, but the wine is elegant, complex and perhaps the most Burgundian of the first three wines. It should drink well for another 5-7 years.
