Tasting notes
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Freddy’s Cuvée, no doubt an homage to the late Fred Constant, seems slightly less impressive than their basic Cabernet, but it’s a whopper of a wine. It’s big, rich, full-bodied, impressive, and obviously built for long-term aging. It will be interesting to taste this and the Cabernet Sauvignon over the next 30+ years. This wine will not disappoint anybody, but patience will be required. Give it at least a decade.

A huge, explosive wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Freddy's Cuvee exudes power, intensity and tons of Diamond Mountain personality. Smoke, cured meats, pomegranate and wild herbs are some of the notes that are pushed forward in a wine that brings together opulence and structure. Readers will have to be patient, but the 2013 is shaping up to be a jewel of a wine.
A magnificent, towering wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Freddy's Cuvee is shaping up to be a real beauty. The 2013 is built for the cellar, but even today, its depth, power and intensity are impossible to miss. This vivid, dark Cabernet Sauvignon should still be fabulous at age thirty.
