2014 Chassagne Montrachet

(28% new oak; from vines planted in 1999 and 2001): Pale greenish-yellow color. Musky aromas of yellow peach, pear, menthol and white flowers accented by a minty nuance. Boasts good stuffing but serious, dry and closed in the early going, showing good cut. From soil rich in clay, says Dancer.
