Tasting notes
(40% vendange entier ; from 35-year-old vines): Full medium red. Tangy aromas of raspberry and flowers are given added punch by limestone energy. Suave and light on its feet, showing excellent definition and verve to its flavors of raspberry, minerals and spices, as well as the added texture and depth of the vintage. (There's an underground stream here, so there was no vine stress in 2015, according to Prune Amiot.) Finishes with fine-grained tannins and lovely mineral/floral lift.

The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Plantes has a backward bouquet that was missing a little joie-de-vivre when I tasted it from barrel. The palate seemed rigid and firm, quite unyielding and for me, maybe just a little over-extracted towards the finish? Let's see how this turns out once in bottle.
