Tasting notes
The 2013 Coeur a Coeur, a blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, is a decidedly rich, ripe white. Honey, candied apricot, mint, chamomile and wild flowers are some of the signatures. Today, the alcohol is a bit prominent. It will be interesting to see if things settle down with more time in bottle. In my view, the 2013 lacks the balance of the best whites in this lineup.

The profound 2013 Proprietary White Coeur à Coeur is an equal part blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Abundant notes of pineapples, mangoes, honeysuckle, candle wax, ripe, juicy, buttery melons and citrus emerge from this deep, full-bodied white. It is ideal for accompanying a big, intensely flavored, grilled fish such as wild-caught salmon. Drink now-2023.
