Green-tinged straw. Bright and spicy on the incisive nose, displaying intense lime, green apple and melon aromas and suave floral and mineral overtones. Dry and nervy on entry and then more fleshy in the middle, offering juicy honeydew and pear flavors and a bracing jolt of Meyer lemon on the back half. Closes silky and long, featuring repeating florality and a refreshing jolt of bitter quinine.

The 2015 Samuel’s Garden Viognier opens with preserved lemons, apricots and a touch of fennel seed. The wine is creamy and fresh, with a nice texture and good intensity in the mouth. There are some savory characteristics and the finish is long.
